Ben and Jamie Caperton moved to Woodland Park in 2002 after retiring from careers in law enforcement and non-profit management. Retirement didn’t last long for either of them! Most locals can probably remember them best from their local stores Charitable Treasures and The Cellar Door. Now Jamie is Executive Director of Habitat for Humanity of Teller County and Ben teaches motorcycle classes with Motorcycle Training Academy, but is best known for chairing the local event “Vino & Notes, Wine-Food-Jazz Festival”!

The two of them designed their beautiful log, cedar and stone home to welcome guests from around the world, including those whom they met through non-profits events that they have coordinated throughout the years. On this year’s tour, guests will be able to visit Santa’s from around the world, collected from four generations of Jamie’s family. The Santa’s range in size from tiny hand-held sized, to almost 7-foot tall greeting visitors walking up to their home in Eagle Pines! Probably the most famous one is Jamie’s Coca-Cola Santa, which she received when she was the Coca Cola baby, back in the 1950’s in Kansas City
