The Winery at Pikes Peak was once home to our underwriter, Tweeds, from October 2000 to September 2005, following extensive renovations and repairs.

The new wine bar, designed by proprietor, Francie Parliament, and hand crafted by local wood artist, Steve Lewis, will amaze you. It amazes Steve, who did not want to incorporate the beautiful antique walnut with the paint-stained, bullet-holed, beat-up antique tin ceiling tiles from the Old Manitou Bottling Plant. Both the walnut slabs and the antique ceiling tiles took on a new life to create the splendid Wildfire granite covered high bar. A large walnut and tin mirror frame the bar, creating a look to match the history of the building. Black and white photos from the Cascade Historical Society display the history of the era. This is a must-see for Tour guests!

High-top wine barrel tables and red leather wine bar stools create an area to relax and mingle, while additional seating can be enjoyed in the Garden Room. Large artisan tin trays, hand crafted iron bottle openers, and hand turned wood wine bottle toppers entice the shopper. Shoppers love the hand-blown flutes and wine glasses, pottery by Mark Wong, and hand-painted wine bottles by Allen Burton. These Colorado artisans’ works, along  with The Winery At Pikes Peak logo glasses are available for purchase.

In the bistro dining area, a unique double-sided fireplace warms the room while Colorado wine warms the heart. A large marble table holds appetizers and beverages for all occasions. The stage that once housed the popular Bob Young’s Dinner Theatre and Cabaret, still displays original advertising banners, and is available can for party functions, dancing and music.
